PC does not see the TP-Link Archer T2uh adapter (the indicator does not burn)
The adapter is connected to the PC. Both driver and utility are installed (from the official website, latest versions). The adapter should blink green, but it does not.
The utility also does not see the adapter. I connected this adapter to a laptop, it flashed green after installing the driver. Can you tell me how to make the PC see the adapter?
Answer
If you had described everything in detail, maybe I would be able to tell you something. And so…
The most important thing:
- Does the computer react in any way to the connection of the TP-Link Archer T2UH Wi-Fi adapter? Is there any beeping sound? Maybe the USB port isn’t working, or there isn’t enough power. If even when connected, the green indicator on the adapter doesn’t light up, it can’t work in any way. And the problem is not in the driver or utility, but in the hardware. Have you tried connecting the adapter to different USB ports on your PC? Do other devices work through this port?
- I don’t know if it makes sense (if the LED doesn’t light up), but have you looked in Device Manager? Maybe something appears there as an unknown device on the “Other Devices” tab (I don’t know what Windows you have installed).
- In any case, even without a driver, the computer should see the connected adapter. Let it appear as an unknown device in the Device Manager.
Since TP-Link Archer T2UH works on another computer, the problem is definitely in the computer.
