The extraordinary work of the TP-Link AC 750 RE200 Repair
But the problem is that when I turn on the repeater – on my laptop the signal is perfect, but near the network I’m trying to connect to – the signal is 5/5, but there is a yellow flag and the message “No Internet connection”.
Roughly speaking, the signal is there, but it does not connect me. From a smartphone this problem is absent, there everything is perfect.
And it covers the whole room for which the repeater was designed. But what about my laptop? This is my working tool….
Answer
Hello. What Windows is installed on the laptop? As I understand, the laptop was connected directly to the router (via wi-fi). After installing TP-LINK AC 750 RE200, it should automatically connect to the wi-fi network as the network is still the same (previous). If it connects to the network but the status is “No internet connection”, then I would start by setting up a reconnect.
Try deleting that Wi-Fi network on the laptop and reconnect to it. You’ll need to re-enter the password. Better yet, do a network reset on your laptop. I can’t give more details, as I don’t know what system is installed on your laptop.
Interestingly, everything works on the phone near the router and near the repeater.
