Repiter mode on the Linksys WAG320N Adsl Roatter

Hello!

I have a Sagemcom F@st 1744 V4 router from Vodafone (basic).

I have a second router – a Linksys WAG320N ADSL router.

Can you tell me if it is possible to connect the Linksys WAG320N ADSL router in the repeater mode, so that it can amplify the existing Wi-Fi signal from Sagemcom F@st 1744 V4?

In the settings of WAG320N I can not find in the settings of the “amplifier” mode, or even WDS mode.

Answer

Good afternoon. I don’t have a Linksys WAG320N modem to look at everything, check and see if it can work in repeater mode. Looked on the Internet, and on the official Linksys forum found the same question.

Linksys WAG320N cannot work in Wi-Fi signal booster mode.

WAG320N with another router can be connected only by network cable. LAN-LAN scheme.

Perhaps you can flash it with a third-party firmware DD-WRT. But I’m not sure that the repeater mode you need will appear there. You need to study this topic.
