Why does Wi-Fi disappear when trying to open sites?

Hello, I’ll give you all the details: I went away for 3 days, disconnected all the wires from the computer, when I came back, the pc asked me to re-enter the wi-fi password.

So here is the problem, the internet connects and works (I can use the query in google), but as soon as I go to any sites (Youtube) the internet drops out, there is a red cross and writes “Wi-Fi networks not found” and there is no network.

Stationary PC + D-link network adapter. If I turn on diagnostics or reboot the adapter, then Wi-Fi starts working again, but again it asks to enter the password (strange that it does not remember it) and the story repeats in a circle.

I have read a lot of sites, nothing helped, while in the settings everything is as it should be (when I read the forums).
I will be very grateful for any help!

Answer

Hi. There are a lot of different and unclear points in your problem.

Please clarify in the comments:

  1. Internet disappears when opening sites in any browser?
  2. Is the problem only with Youtube and VK? Google search opens, go to any site and the internet disappears immediately?
  3. Do other devices that are connected to the same Wi-Fi network work normally? If not connected, you need to connect and check.

Try:

  1. Uninstall the D-link Wi-Fi adapter in Device Manager and restart your PC.
  2. Connect your PC to another Wi-Fi network and try to open the website.
  3. If some program was installed during the process of setting up the D-link wi-fi adapter – uninstall it.
  4. It is good to check this adapter on another PC, or another adapter on yours.

We need to understand what the cause is. The problem is not popular, I rarely hear about such strange behavior of wireless connection.
