Why does Wi-Fi disappear when trying to open sites?
So here is the problem, the internet connects and works (I can use the query in google), but as soon as I go to any sites (Youtube) the internet drops out, there is a red cross and writes “Wi-Fi networks not found” and there is no network.
Stationary PC + D-link network adapter. If I turn on diagnostics or reboot the adapter, then Wi-Fi starts working again, but again it asks to enter the password (strange that it does not remember it) and the story repeats in a circle.
I have read a lot of sites, nothing helped, while in the settings everything is as it should be (when I read the forums).
I will be very grateful for any help!
Answer
Hi. There are a lot of different and unclear points in your problem.
Please clarify in the comments:
- Internet disappears when opening sites in any browser?
- Is the problem only with Youtube and VK? Google search opens, go to any site and the internet disappears immediately?
- Do other devices that are connected to the same Wi-Fi network work normally? If not connected, you need to connect and check.
Try:
- Uninstall the D-link Wi-Fi adapter in Device Manager and restart your PC.
- Connect your PC to another Wi-Fi network and try to open the website.
- If some program was installed during the process of setting up the D-link wi-fi adapter – uninstall it.
- It is good to check this adapter on another PC, or another adapter on yours.
We need to understand what the cause is. The problem is not popular, I rarely hear about such strange behavior of wireless connection.
