No Internet access on Haier TV

Hello, please help me to understand the problem. The TV does not go online, neither through wi-fi, nor through LAN cable, from the TV when you do a network test (both lan and wi-fi) error “WLAN connected”; “WAN disconnected”.

When you connect to the network from the TV via wi-fi or lan, an exclamation mark lights up next to the icon (wi-fi or lan), i.e. it connects to the modem as if but without Internet access.

I tried to give out the iPhone in modem mode 4G Internet – the TV is connected to the Internet without problems. At home installed fiber-optic Internet, router (router) model – ELTEX NTU RG 1402G W.

Through Wi-Fi all devices work. Connect without problems (phones, tablets, laptops), connected a laptop to the LAN – also works, the speed gives as properly laid down by the provider.

TV model – Haier LE65K65OOU

Type of connection from the provider: PPPoE.

Hello. Your ELTEX NTU RG 1402G W router is connected to the Internet. The status “Connected” in the control panel shows it. Yes and the internet on other devices via Wi-Fi and LAN is working.

Google for “Haier LE65K65OOU” doesn’t find anything at all. I don’t know, maybe you specified the model incorrectly. But there are Haier TVs with Smart TV. True, I do not know what kind of system is installed there. I am not familiar with this technique.

On the photo you can see that Haier TV is connected to the router, but there is no connection to the Internet (WAN is disabled). I think the reasons could be two:

  1. The provider is somehow blocking the TV’s network traffic. But why and how – it’s hard to say. Ideally, if the TV is connected through a router (not directly), everything should work.
  2. Something with DNS. This happens often on LG TVs. There in the properties of your Wi-Fi network on the TV, or in the LAN settings (depends on the way of connection) should be an opportunity to specify static IP and DNS addresses. So write only DNS: 8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4

Try it, maybe it will help. I don’t have any other options.

To be honest, this is the first time I’ve heard of Haier TVs today. But if the internet works on the TV when I’m sharing Wi-Fi with my iPhone, then it should work through the router as well.
