I bought a modem ZTE AC3633, before that I used Sierra. I got the modem and now I can not understand what to do with it. If it is without antenna, it connects but without access to the network, but as soon as I insert the antenna, it immediately begins to endlessly reboot and everything.

In rare cases it happens that connects to the network, but it is very rare. Checked the coverage it is, moreover, the connection shows a couple of sticks and sometimes and at all hundred connection is. I can not understand just why he has a constant reboot when the antenna is connected.

First, I recommend that you find out why the ZTE AC3633 doesn’t work without an antenna. One could assume that there is no 3G coverage. But you write that there is a signal. When the 3G indicator light (on the right) on the ZTE AC3633 is green, it sees a 3G network. When it blinks green, the modem is connected to the Internet and should distribute it. By this indicator you can already understand what is happening with it and proceed further.

I read the information on the internet, and it seems that out of the box (without additional settings) ZTE AC3633 does not work as a USB modem. It needs to be switched to that mode. It gives out internet via wi-fi.

Although, when you connect it to your computer, it will most likely offer to install drivers right away and probably will be detected as a USB modem or network connection.

Try to connect to ZTE AC3633 via wi-fi. Immediately after connecting the modem to a computer or power adapter it gives out wi-fi. Network name and password to connect to Wi-Fi network of ZTE AC3633 modem are indicated under the cover. They are signed as SSID and Wi-Fi Key.

You can connect from any device: laptop, tablet, phone. After connecting to the Wi-Fi network of the modem (it works as a Wi-Fi router), you will be able to enter its settings through your browser.
