Why doesn’t the Internet work on a PC with Windows 7 after deleting Dr.Web?
Hello, I’m asking for help!!! The computer is connected through a router (no other PC to check the router is not), Wi-Fi on the phone works, on the computer does not.
I have read several of your articles, what did not do with the computer, nothing helps. The program is Windows 7 maximum. On the first photo – it looks like this when you turn on only the computer and try to enter the Internet, the second photo – connected through the router, in the Internet Protocol version 4 TCP/IPv4 all stands automatically, when trying to connect high-speed gives error 651 and the third photo – so look icons when the cable is connected directly to the PC without a router and the router itself, not to write all his data.
And another suddenly important, before the “cover” the Internet, I removed the antivirus Dr.Web, that would reinstall it, as it stopped updating, restarted the computer, and the Internet tyu-tyu, but the antivirus downloaded through the phone and installed, but the Internet together with it did not appear.😡☺ can not send a photo, scolds😦 – Error: Image width exceeds the maximum (2000 pixels). How to make the phone less pixels I do not know.
Answer
Hello. Yes, uninstalling Dr.Web antivirus can be the reason why the internet stopped working on your computer. Since the internet is not working on your phone, the problem is not with the router.
Very little specific information on the problem as you were unable to attach photos. Try adding them in the comments. Do I understand correctly that your PC is connected to the router via cable? Did you uninstall Dr.Web correctly?
But since the cause is most likely Dr.Web antivirus, let’s look at possible solutions to this problem.
- Remove the antivirus using a special utility “Dr.Web Remover”. You can download it on the Internet (on your phone, then download it to your PC).
- After removing the antivirus , you need to do a network reset in Windows 7.
- Check the proxy server settings. They should be disabled.
- In the properties of the Internet connection (if using a cable, then “Local Area Connection”) you should check if there is no component from Dr.Web antivirus. If there is, uncheck it and click Ok.
My screenshot is based on the example of Windows 10. In Windows 7 everything is approximately the same.
High-speed connection does not need to be started when the Internet is connected through a router.
Try applying these solutions. Attach photos/screenshots in the comments if you can’t solve this problem. If it works, please post what solution worked.
