Why did the Wi-Fi reception on the laptop very much fell, does it slightly catch the signal?
Hello, in general the problem is such a laptop was in the village and the Internet worked by wire from the router to the laptop. I took the laptop to the city and perfectly saw the networks and caught on 5-4 sticks, but a week later he stopped seeing many networks and catches my Wi-Fi on 1 stick and sometimes even disappears altogether.
There was some mechanical damage just when I got up from my workplace laptop clung and a little bit lifted up and fell down can there be some problems with the Wi-Fi module? And there was also when I got rid of the windows-update.exe miner and when I finally banished it, the Wi-Fi started to work badly but the Internet from the wire works great.
Please help.

Good day. Some time ago I already answered a similar question: my laptop catches Wi-Fi only near the router (problem with Wi-Fi antenna). There the problem was that the wire that goes from the Wi-Fi module to the antenna, which is usually located under the screen cover, was frayed. Or here’s another one: poor Wi-Fi network reception on an HP laptop.
Frankly speaking, I have never met a case that such problems with poor Wi-Fi signal reception on any one particular device were due to settings, drivers, viruses, etc. As a rule, the problem is always hardware, not software. And most likely something is exactly with the Wi-Fi antenna in the laptop. Especially, you had mechanical damage. Maybe the antenna is disconnected, bad contact on the Wi-Fi module itself, maybe also the wire that goes to the antenna is broken.
You can try to reinstall the driver on the Wi-Fi adapter, but this is unlikely to solve the problem. You need to disassemble the laptop and look for the cause of such a weak wi-fi signal reception. The fact that the laptop does not see other, neighboring networks, it is understandable. They have a weak signal, he and his network, which is nearby, barely sees (one division).
The first thing to do is to check the connection of the Wi-Fi antenna to the module. For example:
If everything is connected there, then you need to look at the wire itself and the antenna. If you are not sure that you can disassemble and check everything, it is better to contact a service center.
For a while you can connect an external USB Wi-Fi adapter. There are very small Nano adapters. I told about them in the article wi-fi adapter for laptop. How to replace the built-in Wi-Fi module?
